Nail in Mapquest’s Coffin

Google Maps just introduced a customize your map directions feature. If you don’t like the default route that Google calculates for you, you can now drag a section of your route out to where you do want to go.

This is absolutely fantastic for biking, where the default route it picks might assume a trip on the freeway. Is anyone still using Mapquest?

that is a very neat feature. although google should make their map data more up to date. it gave me the wrong location for a store nearby while yahoo maps gave the correct location.
