Who is Mike Daisey, and what is he doing in my office building?!?
Guess what you get when you search for “EMAHTSKCBLVDT” on Google? That’s right! Jefflog!
Remember when you’d remark about feeling a sense of deja vu with your friend at the coffee shop, and he’d start blabbering about a woman burning her hand on the stove at the exact same time while aliens abducted an entire village in the former USSR, but when you wanted more information, he’d just admonish you to “read the book”? Well, my annoying friend, I can’t read the book any longer! Time/LIFE is kaput!
Oh Judy, Time/LIFE operator, why won’t you answer my calls???

Daily Variety reported in January that Britain’s Pathe Pictures had scheduled an April shooting date for the $7 million comedy “Thunderpants,” which it described as the story of “an 11-year-old boy whose amazing ability (to break wind) leads him first to fame and then to death row, before it helps him to fulfill his ambition of becoming an astronaut.”
Patent US5443036: Method of exercising a cat. To put it shortly, using a laser pointer to entertain a cat.
I made pizza tonight, and I’ve made pizza before, but something about the way I made it just makes it taste extremely good. Maybe it’s the mushrooms I put on it, or the onion is especially sweet, or made the dough rise just right. I hope I can made it this good again.
The 25 fittest and fattest cities in America, according to Men’s Fitness magazine. Seattle’s not too shabby, making number 4 on the list. Must be because of all of the hills in the city. The survey goes on to mention that “Seattle-Tacoma residents watched less TV than any city with reported data in our survey during the period measured.” Ah, but did they mention how many hours we spend in front of our computers each day???
The Internet “After The Fall”. Pretty funny stuff from Feed Magazine.
