Christmas is almost here. In years past, I would be scurrying around, trying to find a Christmas present for everyone I could. Well, that is no longer the case. Gift giving shouldn’t be a chore, it should be a delight. So, I’ve decided not to give any presents this Christmas. Instead, I’ve saved up some money and will be getting presents for my friends during various parts of the year. It’ll be much more of a surprise that way, and easier for me.
If you’re one of my friends, it would it even easier to shop for you if you set up an Amazon.com Wish List…

I’m be in Campbellsville, KY for the next two weeks, working in the Amazon.com warehouses. Jefflog updates will be very sparse, perhaps even nonexistent, until I return.

It was exactly one year ago that I came to Seattle to interview for my current job. I remember precisely because of the riots that had occurred the night before. A lot has happened in that year, and it’s been a lot of fun. This coming year should be even better.

Updates from downtown Seattle protests. Seems like “The Battle of Seattle, Part Deux” was like many other sequels: uninspired and not as good as the original. Even though there was some trouble last night, I’m glad to know that it didn’t disrupt too many people’s lives. Now it’s time for everyone to get back to work.

My allergies can get pretty bad sometimes, but they’re never so bad as to require a Nori Nasal Passage Cleaner. The pictures of the woman and boy using the device on the following pages are priceless.

This morning, I noticed a mobile police unit parked in my neighborhood on Capital Hill. I had never seen it there before, leading me to believe that they’re just getting ready for today’s WTO anniversary. Last year, many of the protestors ended up retreating to this neighborhood, and I’m willing to bet there will be increased activity tonight as well. Already, nine Starbucks coffee shops have been vandalized, likely the work of a handful of hoodlums. Let’s hope we don’t see more of this tonight.
